Terms: Specpane: OpenAPI Viewer for Confluence

Effective date: September 29, 2026

Specpane: OpenAPI Viewer for Confluence (the "App") is provided by Brain Static Threads under the Bonterms Standard End User Agreement for Atlassian Marketplace apps (the "Standard Agreement"). You accept it when you install the App from the Atlassian Marketplace. The Provider-Specific Terms below customize the Standard Agreement and, as the Standard Agreement provides, take precedence over it where they differ.

Provider-Specific Terms

Provider. Brain Static Threads, contact support@brainstaticthreads.com.

Governing Law and Courts. The Governing Law is the laws of the State of Texas, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and the Courts are the state and federal courts located in Texas.

Data Protection Addendum. The DPA is the Specpane Data Processing Addendum at https://brainstaticthreads.com/specpane/dpa/.

Privacy Policy. Provider handles information as described in the Specpane Privacy Policy at https://brainstaticthreads.com/specpane/privacy/.

Security Measures. Provider implements and maintains the following:

• The App runs entirely on Atlassian Forge. Provider operates no servers of its own.
• Access tokens for Git connections are stored as encrypted Forge secrets, read only by the App's backend, and never sent to the browser.
• Page attachments are read with the viewing user's own Confluence permissions.
• Page viewers can load only the source saved in a macro. Loading any other source requires permission to edit the page.
• Only Confluence administrators can create, change or delete Git connections. Connections can be limited to specific spaces, and the limit is enforced on the backend.
• Specs fetched from Git are cached for no more than 5 minutes. Only valid OpenAPI or Swagger files are returned or cached.
• Logs record errors only, never spec contents or tokens.
